Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Vidhi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Vidhi is operated by Case Craft Pvt Ltd (“Case Craft”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Case Craft Pvt Ltd.
The Service
Vidhi is an AI-powered legal research and drafting tool. We provide capabilities including case law search, document summarisation, citation validation, a personal document library, and (on Pro and Firm plans) a document editor with AI assistance and AI-drafted documents.
The exact features, usage limits, and pricing applicable to you depend on the plan you have subscribed to.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use Vidhi. If you are using Vidhi on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate registration information
- Keeping your account credentials confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly of any unauthorised use
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used for unlawful purposes, or that pose security or operational risks to the service or other users.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Vidhi for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of professional conduct rules applicable to you
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, models, or the underlying knowledge base
- Use Vidhi to generate content intended to deceive courts, clients, or third parties (e.g., fabricated citations passed off as authentic)
- Resell, sublicense, or share access to a paid account beyond the seats licensed under your plan
- Interfere with the security or operation of the service
Your Content
You retain all rights to content you upload or generate using Vidhi (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to provide the service to you — running searches, generating summaries and drafts, storing it in your library, and supporting it.
We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not share Your Content with other customers.
AI-Generated Output
Vidhi uses AI to generate research summaries, drafts, and answers. AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it for legal advice, court filing, or any other purpose. Vidhi is a tool to assist your professional judgment, not a substitute for it.
We do not provide legal advice. Use of Vidhi does not create a lawyer-client relationship between you and Case Craft Pvt Ltd.
Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation
Plans are billed in advance for the chosen billing period (typically monthly). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.
Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops further billing; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which access ends.
Refunds — fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Price changes — we may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply at your next billing cycle.
Service Availability
We aim to keep Vidhi available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance, deploy updates, or experience unplanned downtime.
Intellectual Property
All rights in the Vidhi service, software, design, and brand belong to Case Craft Pvt Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you beyond the limited right to use the service per your subscription.
Disclaimers
Vidhi is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost revenue, lost data, or lost opportunities — even if advised of the possibility.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Case Craft Pvt Ltd harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your violation of these terms, your content, or your unlawful use of the service.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement by cancelling the subscription. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for serious or repeated breaches of these terms or for unlawful use.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will retain or delete your data per our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through an in-product notice before they take effect. Continued use of Vidhi after changes constitutes acceptance.
